Our fundraising continues to be able to create a much needed new playground for Bidwell Brook School. We are lucky in that our playground is nice and large to provide lots of space for our amazing pupils, but this does mean we have to find a lot of funding to ensure the space is safe and the play equipment meets our pupils' specific needs.
So far, we have completed two out of the four phases of work and would like to thank The Screwfix Foundation, Boshier-Hinton and The Farringdon House Trust who have contributed to date. The finished parts of the playground look amazing and our pupils are loving every minute outside!
As we move onto Phase 3 fundraising, we are very lucky that families and friends of Bidwell Brook School are supporting us. One such supporter is Ben Tabb and his friends who completed the Ultra Challenge South West Coast 50 km in August 2023. They raised nearly £500! Any fundraising such as this is ALWAYS much appreciated. If you have any ideas or would be willing to take on a challenge to raise funds for us, please let us know via the School Office.
We also have our existing GoFundMe page for the playground which can be accessed at any time:
Donations to Ben or on our GoFundMe page would be amazing! Thank you very much.
